Bethesda has a desire to serve as outreach to the community, and through our mission of sharing Christ’s love, we have a number of long-standing relationships with partnering groups in Northeastern Minnesota.

Our Outreach Partners
Damiano Center
Bethesda partners with The Damiano Center, an emergency meal provider in the Duluth area, to collect coats, hats, mittens, and boots as well as blankets.
Second Harvest Food Shelf
A hunger-relief organization, Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank partners with Bethesda to distribute food to families at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
Thrivent
Thrivent is a Lutheran-based financial service that Bethesda partners with to help support Bethesda’s fundraising. Thrivent offers Seed money in the form of $250 gift cards. Thrivent Member’s Choice dollars can be designated to Bethesda as well.
CHUM
Mats made by Bethesda volunteers are given to CHUM. Food and household items are also collected and brought to CHUM.
